About

Welcome to Texas Vet Outdoors.  You have served our country and you deserve to be served.  We are a team of military veterans and unpaid team members.

Our local program serves veterans with disabilities by introducing them to the fascinating world of fly fishing.  Our program has four important groups.

  • Participants – We serve veterans with service connected disabilities. Our goal is to help you experience the healing nature of fly fishing.  We want to connect you with other veterans who understand and value your military service.
  • Helpers – Our team of volunteers that help by coaching our veterans, teaching fly fishing, as well as coordinating our curriculum and fly fishing outings.
  • Supporters – We have many people and companies that support our group. These are the landowners that allow us to use their property, as well as companies that provide services and discounts to our veterans.
  • Donors – Our donors are the individuals and companies that provide the financial support that makes our mission possible.

If you are interested in becoming a participant, please reach out to us through our contact page.  We have a fishing excursion every Friday morning and you are welcome to attend.

If you would like to volunteer as a helper, please attend a Central Texas Fly Fishers Club meeting on the second Tuesday of each month.  Details are on our calendar.

If you would like to be a supporter or Donor, please contact us through our contact page.
